Calling an employer or checking prior records does not replace the required photo ID.</p>\n<p><strong>Corporate check presentments</strong> — complete all of the following:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Collect personal ID from the presenting individual using the steps above.</li>\n<li>Record the business's <strong>legal name</strong>, <strong>jurisdiction of organization</strong>, and <strong>principal business address</strong>.</li>\n<li>For payroll checks, verify the employer against the workers' compensation policy on file.</li>\n<li>Record the presenter's relationship to the business — officer title, employee status, or that an authorization letter is on file.</li>\n<li>Screen both the <strong>individual's name</strong> and the <strong>business name</strong> against OFAC before completing the transaction.</li>\n</ol>",
