If a transaction looks suspicious, you must stop it and investigate before allowing it to continue.</p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Up</strong></p>\n<p>You must update the owner or principal on compliance at least every three months. If something serious goes wrong, you must report it to them immediately.</p>\n<p><strong>Two Important Limits</strong></p>\n<p>You must not review your own AML/CFT program. Someone outside your role must do that. If you are unavailable for an extended period, Advanced Compliance Technology, Inc. must stop check cashing, money transmission, payment instrument sales, foreign currency exchange operations entirely.</p>\n<p><strong>Hiring</strong></p>\n<p>Before any job offer, you must run a background check covering at least seven years. You must screen every applicant against the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list.
